Ward 8 Council President Andrea Jenkins and Ward 11 Council Member Emily Koski invite community members to join them for the South Minneapolis Seniors Fair on Wednesday, October 26th, 2022, from 9 AM to 3 PM at Sabathani Community Center (310 E 38th St, MPLS, MN 55409).
At the event, attendees can expect to:
• Hear from Elected Officials.
• Engage with resource providers at the Resource Fair. (including us, Friends & Co)
• Participate in Workshops on topics relating to preventing fraud and scams, health and wellbeing, elections and voting, and personal safety.
• Receive free blood pressure tests, COVID-19 Vaccinations + Boosters, and Flu Shots!
• Enjoy a provided lunch with other Seniors Fair attendees!
Community members will have the opportunity to hear from their local elected officials, including Attorney General Keith Ellison, Mayor Jacob Frey, Council President Andrea Jenkins, Council Member Emily Koski, and Commissioner Angela Conley.

Meet the Docs from UofM. Rainbow Health and Friends & Co. are happy to host this informal gathering over a delicious Pizza Luce lunch for social connection and to participate in relaxed, small-group discussions about health, wellness, and LGBTQ older adults.

What's a SOLO? Solo older adults are people who cannot or choose not to rely on family for support and care. You will be given the tools and resources needed to make a plan at this gathering.
