Nancy is a thoughtful and kind person who values connection, conversation, and shared experiences. She grew up in Newark, New Jersey, the youngest of four children in a close family. Her childhood in the South Orange Avenue neighborhood was calm and grounded, shaped by family outings, time with friends, and simple joys like summer evenings on a porch.
Nancy has always taken pride in her skills and work. She attended a trade program during high school, where she especially enjoyed cooking and sewing, interests that continue to bring back fond memories. She later worked in a hospital as a dietary aide and in janitorial services, roles she found meaningful and fulfilling. Outside of work, Nancy loved dancing, especially swing, and spending time with a lively group of friends.
In 1985, Nancy moved to Minneapolis after visiting a friend. She raised her son, Tyrone, with care and dedication, creating many cherished memories along the way. Today, she keeps in close touch with her sister Annabelle and enjoys staying connected with family near and far.
Nancy would enjoy building a friendship with a volunteer who appreciates easygoing companionship. She enjoys conversation, watching her favorite shows, and occasionally getting out to a movie or for an outing. She would welcome someone who might like to share a walk, a chat, or simply spend time together. Nancy is open to letting a friendship grow naturally and looks forward to getting to know someone who shares her interest in connection and companionship.
