Vicki grew up in a small town outside Milwaukee after being adopted at age one by her parents, Arthur and Adelia, and raised alongside her two brothers. Life in Osseo, Wisconsin, was often difficult—Vicki faced isolation as a child due to a stutter and struggled to find acceptance among her peers. Despite these challenges, she was raised in a loving home grounded in strong Christian values that continue to shape her perspective today.
At 18, Vicki moved to Eau Claire to attend vocational school before settling in St. Paul, where she worked a variety of office jobs, including roles at 3M and St. Paul Fire and Marine Insurance. While much of her work was repetitive, she takes pride in her perseverance and independence. She later went on disability in her late 20s and has spent many years living quietly and independently in her home of over three decades.
Vicki enjoys simple pleasures—borrowing books (especially those focused on God and theology), playing classic games like Uno, Cribbage, and Backgammon, and sharing a good cup of coffee. She has a deep love for dogs and fondly remembers the many pets she’s had over the years, especially her beloved spaniel, Maggie.
Though she doesn’t currently attend church, her faith remains very important to her, and she would value companionship with someone who shares a Christian outlook. Vicki would enjoy gentle outings like visiting gardens or the zoo, as well as light activity as she continues recovering from a recent knee injury. Warm, thoughtful, and resilient, she would truly appreciate a friendly, consistent connection to share conversation and companionship.
