Who We Are
Friends & Co (Formerly Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly) celebrates aging through community-led service, creating opportunities for connection and belonging for older adults. For over 50 years, we’ve brought volunteers, members, and donors together to foster meaningful relationships that make a real difference.
What We Are Looking For
We are seeking individuals who bring knowledge, insight, or connections that can help our organization grow and thrive. Ideal candidates may have:
- Institutional knowledge of Friends & Co or similar organizations.
- Experience in strategic growth, fundraising, or community engagement.
- Connections or networks that could support our mission.
We especially welcome diverse perspectives to ensure our board represents the community we serve.
Board Member Expectations
- Term: 3 years
- Time Commitment: Attend our main committee monthly, plus optional subcommittee work—roughly 10 meetings per year
- Responsibilities: Participate in strategic planning, fiduciary oversight, and supporting our community impact.
