Pat Cook is no stranger to volunteering. Ever since he retired, Cook has been paired with older adults through Friends & Co’s many programs that are helping bring friends together in the Twin Cities, and Greater Minnesota.
In this interview, Cook talks about his early days in college, and feeling empathy for other people, older adults in particular, and even some of what it’s been like for him in his life of volunteering, and even losing some of his friends along the journey.
